OUR BOOK IS HERE!

WE ARE SO EXCITED!

LIES: The Truth about the Self-Deception That Limits Your Life is a collection of over forty, 3-to-4 page essays accompanied by whimsical and evocative drawings that address many of the patterns of self-deception that can go unnoticed and yet lead to stress and unhappiness. These essays are compiled after decades of experience by two successful, practicing psychologists. Every essay is self-contained so the book can be opened to any piece and read in any order. We each pen our own essays and every piece is followed by a conversation between us. Over these decades we have consulted with each other about clients---batting issues around, sometime agreeing, sometimes expanding, sometimes flat-out having a different point of view. No matter what, the benefit of two minds and two points of view has been invaluable so we offer this experience here.

You can buy our book on Amazon, Barnes and Noble, and IUniverse Bookstore.

About Us

We are two shrinks who between us have over sixty years experience working with hundreds of clients. In our own lives, we have gone through marriages and divorces, the death of spouses, the raising of children and the survival of cancer. We were born into our own challenging families. Both of us are writers and many times over the years clients have told us, “You should write a book.” And so we have-----LIES: The Truth about the Self-Deceptions That Limit Your Life.

About our Book

LIES: The Truth about the Self-Deceptions That Limit Your Life is a collection of over forty, 3-to-4 page essays accompanied by whimsical and evocative drawings that address many of the patterns of self-deception that can go unnoticed and yet lead to stress and unhappiness.
Stayed tuned for information about how to buy our book. We are excited about the pending release!

Just To Clarify

We hope you enjoy our blog and find topics of interest. Our words, of course, are in no way a stand-in for therapy. If you think a therapist would be helpful, we hope you can find a good one where you live. And just to clarify, this blog in no way intends to treat anyone or offer individual advice or counsel. Just so you know.
